Rugged molded case withstands all weather conditions. Features a hinged cover, continuous neoprene o-ring seal and two quick release latches. Six feed-through cable fittings are installed on side of case. Fittings accept cable diameters up to 0.26" (6.5 mm).
The EC44 compared with the EC506
The EC506 Weatherproof Case is about twice as large as
the EC44. The EC506 has a folding carrying handle and can be padlocked.
Captive communication
cable (-IC option):
Cable is permanently routed through one cable fitting on case. Allows data
transfers to PC without opening cover. Cable extends 5 ft (1.5 meters) from case. Cable end has a
watertight cap. Mates with IC209 Interface Cable.
Outfitted for Wireless
Link (-BP option):
Case configured to house the XR440 and battery powered
Wireless Link.
Includes removable battery holder for C size cells, mounting provisions for
Wireless Link, and short (8") version of
IC209 Cable (IC209-S). Order Wireless Link
separately.
